1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging in therapy services with Tell Me More Therapy, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services, including in-person and telehealth sessions, consultations, and communications with your therapist.
2. Services Provided
Tell Me More Therapy provides psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Services may include, but are not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), talk therapy, and solution-focused therapy. All treatment is provided in accordance with ethical and professional standards established by the American Psychological Association (APA) and applicable state laws.
3. Confidentiality
All sessions and communications are confidential, in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and state confidentiality laws.
Information will not be disclosed without your written consent, except as required or permitted by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, abuse reporting, or court order).
4. Appointments and Cancellations
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the session fee.

No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will also be charged the full session fee.

Insurance typically does not cover missed or late-cancelled sessions.
You can cancel by phone, voicemail, email, or through your client portal (if applicable).
5. Fees and Payments
Session fees are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Accepted payment methods include [list accepted forms: cash, credit card, HSA/FSA card, check, or online payment].
If using insurance, you are responsible for any copays, deductibles, or uncovered services.
Outstanding balances must be paid before scheduling additional sessions.
6. Telehealth Services
Tell Me More Therapy provides telehealth sessions via secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. By using telehealth, you acknowledge that:

Technical difficulties may occasionally disrupt or delay sessions.

You are responsible for ensuring a private and secure space for your session.

Telehealth is not appropriate for all mental health concerns; your therapist will discuss options if in-person care becomes necessary.
7. Emergencies
Tell Me More Therapy is not an emergency service.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency department, or contact the Maine Crisis Line at 1-888-568-1112.
8. Website and Online Content
The information on the Tell Me More Therapy website is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It should not be considered professional advice or a substitute for therapy.
9. Changes to Terms
Tell Me More Therapy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website or provided in writing upon request. Continued use of services after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the revised terms
